Public Policy Institute honors Nathaniel 格洛弗 with named fellowship

杰克逊维尔大学’s Public Policy Institute announced that its Master in Public Policy (MPP) Minority Fellowship Program, a national model, will be named in honor 博士的. Nathaniel “Nat” 格洛弗, the 前杰克逊维尔警长 and widely respected 佛罗里达州公务员.

He went on to serve for seven years as the 29th president of his alma mater, Edwards Waters University, Florida’s first historically Black college.

The MPP Nathaniel 格洛弗 Fellowship Program is a highly competitive program, with two fellows selected from each MPP cohort, along with partial scholarships for qualified 申请人. Applications for the 2024 MPP 格洛弗 Fellowships and Scholarships are now open.  学生 who would like to apply for this fellowship should complete the MPP application and 寻求进入MPP计划. Additionally, MPP 格洛弗 Fellow candidates submit a separate essay describing how their background, experience, knowledge, and upbringing enables them to lead and serve the entire community of North Florida, including underserved 社区.
